Petco Grooming

I've been taking my Staffordshire Terrier mix Reyna to this location for over 5 years. Calli is Reyna's regular groomer and she is an exceptional groomer as well as a wonderful, good-natured person. She genuinely cares for each and every fur baby she grooms. She treats them like they are her own. Calli really goes above and beyond with her customer service. When she has been out the other groomers have always stepped up and provided excellent grooming and care for Reyna, too. I really appreciate the respect and kindness they all show me and Reyna at every appointment. Also, thank you Petco for the 20% off every grooming with my Vital Care Rewards Membership plus the extra $5 rewards I receive for my purchases including grooming services. The more money I save the more I can tip Calli and the other groomers who assist when she is out.

I took my fur baby Bentley Maltese mix today to Petco Sugarland. I can honestly say that I will only go there from this point forward. Cali my groomer was professional, detail and friendly she listened to my fur baby every need. My dog was a hot mess when I dropped him off (overgrown hair, desperately in need of nail trims, ear plucking, de-matting, etc.). I was a little concerned about Bentley (13 year old male). I rescued him back in 2017 . When I picked him up I was almost in tears from happiness. My baby Bentley looked AMAZING! The best part was hearing how great and well-behaved my dog was . Bentley was happy and so was I. I HIGHLY recommend Cali the Groomer at Petco in Sugarland Texas to everyone!

My Australia Shepherd also looks so handsome after being groomed. His coat is so shiny and soft.

I've been bringing my furbabies to this Petco location for the past 3 years, and I can confidently say that Cali is the BEST groomer we've ever had. Her patience, care, and genuine love for animals shine through every visit. What truly sets her apart is how she goes above and beyond—she’s been working with my younger pup on proper bathing etiquette, which has made a huge difference when I bathe her at home between appointments. Cali’s customer service is just as exceptional. She’s always proactive, follows up after visits, and makes sure we feel supported and informed. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated and skilled. I sincerely hope Petco recognizes what a gem they have in Cali—she’s a needle in a haystack. I’d love to see her mentoring and training new groomers because the industry needs more professionals like her.

It was a good experience for my dog, not so good experience for me. DONT GET ME WRONG, THE GROOMERS are amazing. Its just that the pricing is all jacked up. The grooming was for only $53 in the website. But then when I was going to pay, there's a hidden fee of $10.99 and the price went up to $58, plus the materials for $5.99! And of course you have to tip the groomer as well! That was easily $85 now for the price and tip of $10.. more than what you're anticipating. Petco needs to stop having hidden fees. That's $20 more without the tips. Its ridiculous.

I want to really like this groomer. The people are nice and I have never had an issue with my dog's haircut. However, I got a call early December that I could get 20% off my next appointment cause we hadn't been in a while and they scheduled my appointment on the phone with me at the same time. I show up later that same month (about 23 days) and I'm told that the discount only applied to appointments in November. They took 10$ off my price which is nice but the manager said that the discount didn't apply to me. They don't know who told me that but they definitely added a note that said it "20% off". This Petco lied to me and I will not continue to give them my business.

My first visit to Petco Grooming Sugar Land the groomer did a great job, but unfortunately not the second time, she decided to leave my dog with no hair at all without even calling me and letting me know, even though we talked about it, and she even recommended to me a longer trim and she did the opposite. I’m very disappointed.
