Johnny's Doghouse Pet Grooming & Boarding

Wow! I have to say this was an amazing experience! I have been trying to look for a new groomer for my dog since the place we’ve taken him hasn’t been pleasant. I’ve only used this place for boarding when they were in Mesa years ago but recently I recalled how positive that was which is why I decided to try their grooming. I was anxious at first to see how he would be since his excitement can be misunderstood. He also doesn’t like being touched in certain areas. Groomers in the past didn’t try to clean him up properly since he didn’t like certain spots but Mr.Fox let them touch those spots! He doesn’t like his ears being touched but to hear that he didn’t even give them a hard time amazes me and he just feels so soft and clean. The line work on him came out good too! The staff was incredible too! You can tell that they are good animals. It’s a bit of a drive but it’s worth it! 10/10

Brought in a dog I’ve had for only a month. The staff were friendly and watched his behavior around other dogs. My boy settled in well. He got a great grooming and I chose to have his ears trimmed differently. The groomer came out and made a suggestion and his ear trim looks amazing! He came out looking fabulous! I did observe that all the dogs there were happy and having fun!

Everyone here is very nice, you always see the same people which I think helps my dogs familiarize themselves with getting groomed. They do a good job and listen to what you ask and keep expectations real! They get little Leis every-time which is so fitting to the aesthetic!

I adopted Kaya 1 month ago and it was her first time getting groomed. She was so happy and had an amazing experience getting to run around with all the other pups. She came home looking so beautiful as well!

Johnnys always does an amazing job. The groomers know our dogs by name, and I think they genuinely enjoy seeing Betsy and Ronni. The pups come home clean, smelling good, happy, and clean-shaven!

Fantastic experience all around! Finally got the cut we've been looking for. Loved the communication with the groomer, he was amazing! Before and after, minus the wet face from drinking water! 😉🥰

You can feel how much he truly cares the moment you walk in, he’s patient, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. My pups are usually nervous at groomers, but with Chris they’re completely relaxed and actually excited to go. He takes the time to listen to what you want, explains everything clearly, and always goes above and beyond to make sure the experience is perfect. It’s rare to find someone who combines skill, passion, and genuine love for animals the way Chris does. If you want your pets cared for by someone you can trust 100%, this is the place.
