Petco Grooming

We just moved to Virginia Beach from Richmond where we had a beloved Petco groomer Nicole A. Yesterday we took the babies to the local Petco and had their appointments with Eriana and we were so happy with how the dogs look and smell! Eriana was so patient during check in while I made sure the notes Nicole left were in the system. They were and followed to the letter. Special thanks to Nicole for adding the detailed notes. So happy with the store and also the clerk Tabitha who was so kind to take the time to call and get the free grooming code for my account since the app was not loading and explain to me the Vital Care program in depth. Thank you for a great experience! We are moving to Norfolk in 3 weeks so we probably won’t be back to this store but we will be visiting the local Petco near our new house.

Malerie is great with my Collie Sophie. She always looks great after getting a groom at PetCo. We are new to the area and I love that I found a place that was so good. Thank You!!

I love Jordyn she is the best she did both my girls and they look great and my bigger one tends to give people a hard time but Jordyn is always able to still get the job done! Both of my dogs are Pomskies with thick double coats one is 10 pounds and one is 54 pounds .

My dog loves going to Petco. He loves to get his nails cut but won’t let me do it. He runs from me but he’s always cooperative with the groomers. He loves them and they love him.

We cannot say this loudly enough: Zack is absolutely AMAZING! The peace of mind we feel leaving our four energetic German Shepherds with him is priceless. Our 'babies' are a big commitment, yet Zack approaches their care with remarkable expertise and confidence. They come home not just clean, but shining and smelling incredible! What truly sets him apart is his level of dedication and observation; he's proactive in pointing out anything he's noticed about their health or coat. After eight wonderful months, our loyalty is sealed. Zack is not just a groomer; he’s an essential part of our dogs’ care team, and we highly recommend him!

This particular location has some of the friendliest people working there and they have such wonderful attitudes! They are always very attentive to our fur baby (dog) and do exceptional service! I wouldn’t trust our boy to anyone else!

These are literally the best groomers ever! Malorie and Jordyn are my go to girls but I have never had a bad experience. I have a big dog who is very fluffy and I feel personally that the prices are completely acceptable. I am more than happy to spend money at a salon that is going to give him the best of care. I truly believe that my groomers love him. Also, sometimes (rarely) it does take them 3+ hours to get my dog’s grooming done and that personally doesn’t bother me at all. I would never just show up assuming that my dog is done. Those complaining about price or communication clearly don’t know how to communicate themselves and clearly don’t know what it takes to groom a dog. As long as my groomers are still there, I will continue to come there. Also, I drive 30 minutes each way to go to this specific location.
