Collar & Comb – Luxury Dog & Cat Grooming

This place is a vibe. Thanks to Paul and his amazing staff. I have an elderly cat that has some serious "tortitude". She was always easy to get groomed. But as she’s gotten up in age she has, been turned away from several other groomers with in 20 minutes after her dropping her off. Luckily I found Collar and comb. All of the groomers have 25+ experience dealing with all types of cats and dogs. (True pros!) . I can not thank them enough to their attentions to detail and making sure my little senior cat is safe and groomed properly unlike other grooming spots. Paul the owner has always gone above and beyond to ensure a safe a professional environment. My cat Frankie (who has a reputation) is so much more comfortable after her appointment. I also take my Cavalier King Charles there for grooming and she always comes out looking amazing. The vibes there and staff are top notch. Not to mention you can grab a drink and snack if you choose to wait around until they are done. Thank you Paul and team for being so attentive, being personable and creating an amazing vibe.

We are a 501c3 Animal Rescue (I STAND WITH MY PACK) and we had a great time at their grand opening event. This is a wonderful place to socialize with your pets and friends, drink some great coffee and eat snacks while your pups play and get groomed. The groomer did a wonderful job on our foster dogs. They also support local rescue organizations, which is very much appreciated!!!

This was our first visit, and they took such amazing care of my baby -- I could not be happier! The owner took the time to sit down with me one-on-one and went over the importance of regular grooming (which we already do), but also explained so much I didn't know about ears, eyes, and the overall health that goes along with grooming. Sam the groomer was extremely sweet, and I could see my pup was very comfortable in his arms when he returned her to me. I also have a favorite photo of my dog's haircut that I show every groomer -- no one has been able to replicate it until today! Thank you, Sam, for taking such great care of her; you are very talented. I will definitely be back! If you haven't been here, I highly recommend it!

I took my 2 dogs here in October and I still think about how bad this was. I have a golden retriever and a German shepherd. They both get nervous with the blow dryers but usually we go to tailwashers and they are able to dry them. I wanted to try collar and comb because it’s 2 minutes from my place. The groomer was unable to dry either of them and also didn’t do any de-shedding. I got 2 wet dogs returned to me. The owner is a bit rude and I read similar reviews about him while I was waiting for my dogs to be done, so now I understand. One minute he’s nice and hospitable, the next he’s kind of gives curt replies. Example- I asked if my golden retriever could get water while we were waiting for one of my shepherd to be washed. He said very quickly without even looking at me "there are bowls all around" (they were all empty) The owner does the payment total manually on his phone. He doesn’t tell you he automatically adds 30% gratuity, he just shows you the total. He ALSO turns the phone around to ask you for a tip. I didn’t know about the auto gratuity until I got the receipt emailed to me. The total was close to $500 for basic baths. We will never come here again, and I’d rather drive out of the way to a groomer than bring my dogs here

Collar & Comb has been consistently wonderful to work with for grooming and styling services for Violet, our luxurious long haired Norwegian Forest Cat. Charis, Sam, Paul, and Lincoln are so great to work with and their deep knowledge of feline care is impressive. Both the Sunset and WeHo locations are gorgeous and comfortable, and private spacious accommodations keep Violet calm, cool, and comfortable during her visits. We are so grateful to have met Collar & Comb!

Took my 11-year-old dog Bruce to Collar & Comb and couldn't be happier with the experience. They treated him with so much patience and care, especially as a senior pup. He even got his first hot stone massage and was completely relaxed afterward. The team also gave my husband and I really helpful advice on keeping him healthy and supporting his longevity, which I really appreciated. His nail trim, ear cleaning, and bath were all done to perfection. He looks great and even has a lil skip in his step. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals they work with. Highly recommend, especially for older pups!

NEW FAVE SPOT IN WEHO! It's like they love your dog as much as you do - best experience I've ever had with a grooming and it's the first time my baby girl Jolene came out happy and chill. In the past I've picked her up from other groomers and she's visibly stressed out. Not today 🙌🏼 This was her first time at collar & comb and she was just a happy little pup the whole time. She could see me coming with a coffee while she was groomed and she knew she was safe. Plus the staff is incredibly talented.
