Golden Shears Grooming

I brought my Golden Retriever in after a very muddy weekend, and I honestly didn’t think they could get him this clean. The groomers here are miracle workers! They handled his thick undercoat perfectly. He came out smelling amazing, his coat is incredibly soft, and his 'feathers' are trimmed to perfection. You can tell they actually love dogs here. My pup left happy, not stressed at all. 10/10 would recommend to any Golden owner!

I love this place! Everybody is very nice. My dog is 16 years old. She is blind and wears diapers. It is difficult to wash and trim her because she can’t see so she gets scared. Her groomer is kind, patient and always does an awesome job! The feathers are too cute on her ears. I wouldn’t trust her anywhere else. I’ve referred friends and they love this place as well.

The gentleman who checked me in was very nice and friendly.All three of my dogs don’t mind coming to this place to get groomed. They usually shake in fear when I drop them off at other groomers but not here. To the person who groomed them, you did a great job deshedding them. Also they were in desperate need of a nail trim. Not only did they cut them but they filed them so their nails were not sharp at all. I been to other places were they just cut the nails and leave them like that but not here. They took that extra time to make their nails look and feel good. Highly recommended groomer!

Looking for a dog's groom in my area. I found this place. I read all the review. And I say you know what I will try it. My brother did dropped off my puppy. They called me how I want them to cut my puppy a haircut . I told them a girly cut , very cute cut. So here how they cut my puppy haircut. I can cut this at home my self. They are still Argue I never go to go back there again .

They gave my golden an awful cut. Explained very clearly what I wanted and even showed a picture and ended up with the most bizarre choppy buzz cut not right for the breed. Buzzed off his long feathered mane (which will take a very long time to grow back) and floofy butt and butchered his ears—yet his paws are still uneven. Any legitimate groomer should know never to use electric clippers on a golden. Waste of $100 (no refund) and extremely concerned his fur won’t grow back in time for our wedding.

Golden Shears is very good with our dog. She always comes back clean & she smells very nice. The workers are also here to resolve any issues, especially Will. I mentioned that I was having a little difficulty reaching them through phone, and they got back to me promptly. All the workers are nice & easy to work with. I only get a bath & haircut for my dog, so I'm not able to provide much information about any other services, but overall, I'm rather pleased with how they've handled my dog. My family & I have been working with them for the past few years, so I recommend them.
