Groovy Grooms Doggy Spa

Please understand that this is just a review of my personal experience. The gentleman didn't understand what I meant when I asked for a puppy cut for a 4 month old Standard Poodle. The razor burn was bad enough that we had to take all 3 of them to our veterinarian, and were all given medication to be applied to the razer burned areas. There were also two nicks on my males nose and one major nick on the side of his head just underneath his ear. My other female had extreme razor burn on her nose. Poodles have to be groomed their whole life and a traumatic experience in the beginning only makes it much more problematic every time they have to get groomed. Again,this is my experiece, but in the future, research is key in finding a professional groomer.

We have been taking our 105 lb Bernese Mountain dog to Skylar for the past year, and we truly couldn't ask for a better groomer. We've also brought our other 5 dogs to him, and every single experience has been nothing but positive. Our dogs always come back looking incredible, but what means the most to us is how excited they get when they see Skylar/Miranda. That alone says so much about the care, patience, and kindness they receive there. One of our dogs absolutely refuses to let anyone trim his nails, but somehow Skylar is the exception! The patience, kindness, and trust he has built with our dogs truly shows. We're beyond grateful to have found groomers we trust so much with our pups, and we highly recommend them to anyone looking for groomers who go above and beyond.

Needed some special care and attention for my 2 year old Shih Tzu after a terrible grooming experience she had. Additionally, for our 4 month old baby. Skylar was very loving and patient with both. The 2 year old came home and was fine after her visit.

Apollo sees Skylar monthly and always has Amazing results. He is a Belgian Malinois/Husky and has many coats. The ultimate Deshed package has shown a significant decrease in the amount of fur around the house. No more doggy tumble weeds rolling around the house. Highly recommend Groovy Grooms.

I have used Groovy Grooms twice and was very satisfied both times. I am very picky when it comes to my Maltese, and both times he was perfectly groomed. They will do anything you ask for in a groom so, communication is a must. They are not mind readers. I give them all of the stars, my dogs have found their forever groomer. Thanks Skylar and Miranda. Had the best experience today with Skylar! PomPom had a bad experience with her former groomer and was extremely scared but he immediately had her calm. We are so very grateful to Skylar and will definitely be back! Her cut and groom were the best she’s ever had! He truly earned her trust and she was so happy when we got there to pick her up! We’ve been with Skyler since our move to Abilene a little over 2 years ago. Our dog is an anxious boy and takes a while to warm up to people. We were nervous about finding someone in town who could handle his high energy and temperament. After a recommendation from a friend, we went to Skyler and are so thankful we did. He immediately put our worries at ease. He’s patient and gentle with our dog and does a great job grooming him each time. Additionally, he keeps me updated with grooming process so I have an idea of when he’s about to be done. Highly recommend Groovy Grooms!!
