Update: 3rd or 4th time wasn’t a charm for us. I think the team may have overbooked because the last couple of times I’ve taken him it’s just been a bath seems like. I’ve asked for a full groom per previous visit notes and it’s not the same. They are friendly just not doing it for us any longer. On to the next. I called this place on a whim a couple of weeks back, because we just moved here over a few months and it was time. They had just had a cancellation and told me to come on in. I typically get him groomed every month or so and in between I just bathe him. I miss his old groomers back in SC, but Jason was amazing accommodating my needs. Not sure if he is the groomer, but whoever is did a pretty good job. I wish I had met the groomer, would be my only complaint.

My dog came out the same way that she went in . They claimed that she didn’t like her nails clipped, so they weren’t. The build up from her draining eyes was partially still there. When i asked could they bring me a napkin so that i could wipe it a little, he pulls the build up off along with some of her fur. She’s a very well behaved 8 month old puppy, and has been groomed at least 10 times with absolutely no complaints. She wears a harness, so some of the fur on can get a little tangled from time to time. I’ve checked and the tangled fur is still there. She wasn’t even properly blown out. She has curly hair, after a groom, she looks like a little brown puff lol. Her tail wasn’t cut or barely brushed. This is my first time trying these groomers and i will NOT be coming back. I do not recommend this establishment.

I soooo love Animal House. I left my sweet 15 year old doggy so I could go to Europe for 2 weeks. They took such good care of her boarding her. Also, my mother died and I left my doggy for 3 days with Animal house all last minute and I trusted them 100% Check out their boarding and let them spoil your dog too.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE! these people shaved my beautiful golden doodle with infected and dirty clippers which resulted in my dog having a terrible skin infection on his head that was oozing out yellow and bloody discharge. I picked up my dog and ask the receptionist what was wrong with my dogs head because his head appeared to be extremely irritated. The receptionist told me not to worry and that another dog that was playing with my dog had slobbered on his head. I TRUSTED the receptionist’s words because my dogs have been to this place a few times. THIS WAS A STUPID MISTAKE! Once we got home my dog was already becoming extremely restless and bothering his head, I thought that it would pass over. Days past by and my dogs head was extremely infected.. LOOK AT THE PICTURES. I had to rush my dog to an emergency pet hospital where they told me that the groomer must have used dirty clippers and infected my dog. They had to shave my dogs head down completely to cleanse the infection out, My dog now has to wear a cone 24/hrs a day until his head heals. I simply asked the groomer to help assist with the medical bills I had to pay and they won’t even help with that or take accountability stating that it is my fault that my dog had an infection. THE LIES these people tell. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Can not say if the grooming is good or bad because Justin (the person in charge) did not show up on time to open the store. I waited 15 minutes past opening time, but then had to give up so I could be on time to work (not a priority for them though). The other client waiting in the parking lot said that they are always late opening. Used to be a great place before Linda retired, now it is a just a very expensive, non-professional business.

I had a very disappointing experience at Animal House and will not be returning. When I first started bringing my two small dogs, my bill was typically under $100 for both of them, which included a bath and haircut. Over time, the prices kept increasing without any clear explanation. At one point they began adding a $15 "dematting" fee, even when my dogs were regularly groomed. Recently the cost climbed to $130–$140, so I started asking for a breakdown of the charges. Unfortunately, the staff seemed irritated whenever I asked basic questions about pricing. There is no posted price list and no transparency about how they calculate the final bill. During my most recent visit, I had already combed my dogs before arriving. The employee at the front desk used a small comb on my dog’s legs in a way that would naturally create tangles and then claimed there would be a dematting charge. I told him if they planned to charge that fee, I would rather take my dogs somewhere else. He took the dogs to the back and returned saying there would be no dematting charge, but added that if the dogs cried or had to be corrected during grooming there could be additional fees. I had never been told about that policy before. When I came back to pick them up, I was told the total was $75 per dog. When I asked for a breakdown of what the $75 included, the employee became extremely hostile and began yelling at the top of his lungs at me simply for asking about the charges. Even after asking multiple times, he could not provide any clear explanation of the pricing. Another concern I’ve had over time is that on more than one occasion my dogs came home with small cuts or what appeared to be bruising. I did not notice these issues until after we left. I cannot say exactly how it happened, but it raises concerns about whether the dogs are being properly supervised or handled during grooming. As a customer, I believe it is reasonable to ask for a breakdown of services being charged. Instead, I was met with hostility and extremely unprofessional behavior. Because of the lack of transparency in pricing, the concerns about how my dogs were handled, and the way I was treated when asking simple questions, I will not be returning and would caution others to be aware before bringing their pets here.
