Set up an appointment for my Giant Schnauzer. When I came into the business a blonde hair lady who was supposed to give my dog a haircut said she wanted to cut all the hair off my dogs legs due to mats in the hair. I told her that would not be a standard Schnauzer look, and I would pay more for the additional work. She said no. I left immediately. My dog has had mats in her hair before that were untangled by dog groomers. If their company policy is not to untangle matted hair and only shave it off, they should disclose it before the day of a haircut. Since then I went to O My Dog in Foster City and they said they can untangle the hair mats and are glad to receive my money.
We are new to the area and I had good experience with Petco, PetSmart, etc before. So I decided to just take my puppy to any of those places because, why not? Well, this time my puppy had a terrible experience; but Groomingdales gave her a super makeover. The customer service was great! You can clearly see the before and after. (I’m pretty sure I don’t have to mention that the AFTER, is the picture with the bandana ☺️) THANKS AGAIN, GROOMINGDALES
I love coming to Groomingdales to get my cats groomed! George does an amazing job, loves animals and is so friendly! I have taken my cats here for over a year now and there is no one else in the Bay Area I would ever go to now that I've found them. Trustworthy, good, friendly, fair and highly recommended.
Took my dog for grooming. Gave them clear instructions that I don't want to remove much hair and buff the nails and cut some hair on the face so that he can see. They just shaved off completely and the shave was very uneven didn't buff the nails properly . Some nails are still long. On top of that they added de matting fee. If they shaved off the pet completely I didn't get it why de matting is required ? Super disappointed and never taking my dog there.
These new owners really know their pet grooming business! They think of everything! As they grow as a business, they will be offering even more services and advantages to their customers. I can't wait to see what they do next! The ultimate place to have your pet groomed!

Katerina is the only one my dog allows to cut her nails. She has that special touch with dogs. Highly recommended!
