Fancy Paws Grooming Salon

I have had the best experience bringing my dog to Fancy Paws for the past three years. Evelyn (sorry if spelling is wrong) and the team couldn’t be kinder, and also have shown me grace if I am running late or behind schedule. Evelyn is so passionate. I have read some of the comments on here, and have literally never experienced anything negative coming here. I drive from the Northeast side of Chicago to Fancy Paws, it’s a long drive but it’s worth it. They are so kinda to my elderly dog. I recommend them to everyone.

My first time going to fancy paws was a wonderful experience. My dog Lila was overly grown and Evelyn and her team took great time, care and attention while also grooming in a safe manner. Lila is very anxious. Evelyn, Alex and Charlie all made sure she felt safe and cared for. She was very comfortable with her team. Couldn’t have asked or expected a better experience. Will be going back for all my future grooming needs with all 3 of my small dogs. Thanks for much Evelyn and team!! I’m not sure why anyone else would complain about the knowledgeable service and patience they offer at Fancy Paws. Any complainers must be Karen’s and scammers. Don’t trust the bad comments and Go give them an shot. And I am very picky with my grooming services. So happy I found a great local groomer.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the grooming service provided for my Golden Retriever. Before the grooming appointment, I clearly explained that I wanted only a small trim and specifically did not want my dog to be shaved. I also signed the paperwork based on the understanding that my instructions would be followed. When I picked up my dog, I was very disappointed to see that he had been shaved much shorter than requested. This is not the haircut I approved or expected. Golden Retrievers have a double coat, and shaving them can affect their coat growth and natural protection. This is unethical. In top Of that thy charge me $150.00🤷🏻‍♀️ I think the problem here is that you don't understand Spanish to begin with. That's probably where the misunderstanding came from. "Cortar un poco" means "cut a little," not "cut too little." And Yes you are right you didn’t charge us $150.00, you charged us $149.50! Of course, we are going to a better place.

From the first day I took my dog Cudy to Fancy Paws, I felt very confident, and the welcome and wonderful energy I received from Evelyn, her husband and all the staff was so pleasant. The price are very good, and my princess Cudy looked beautiful and smelled amazing. The place is always clean and they dedicate time to each dog with so much patience and love and there's always lots of laughter. Thank you for al your love for my princess Cudy. 100% recommended!

This was my first time taking my 9 year old Poodle Mix dog, Bentley. He tends to be anxious and taking him to the groomers can sometimes be too much for him. Evelyn and her husband were great from the beginning! They were super friendly and courteous! She took her time getting to know me and my dog and explaining her services and process! The grooming salon is an open concept so it's very nice that you are able to see her while she works her magic. Bentley went in to Fancy Paws in shambles and when I went to pick him up, he looked amazing! Evelyn did an incredible job on him and I could not asked for anything less! And let me not forget to mention her adorable dog, Snickers. He and Bentley seemed to get along very well. And her daughter, she was super friendly and engaging when I picked up my baby! If you are looking for a very friendly, welcoming, family, and minority owned pet grooming, that will treat your dog like if they were their own and with affordable prices, then Fancy Paws Grooming Salon is the place to go!

I took my 103 lbs blue nose pit bull to Fancy Paws for grooming and they were so good to him. First of all my dog is epileptic and he full of energy. I struggle to take him anywhere because he gets very nervous about anything and anyone but they were so gentle and patient with him. Evelyn and Erik are just so awesome. You can tell they have love for the dogs.This is a place you take your pets too because they get treated like family . Their prices are great and super friendly and inviting atmosphere. I love their open concept so I can see what is happening to my fur baby. Thank you so much

Decent for the price and they followed instructions well for her cut. Only thing I’d say is I wish the cut was more cleaned up around the face and body but I like the overall look and will be returning to continue Kiki’s grooming here. Staff was extremely nice and friendly on the phone and upon pickup.
