Nowhere on their site does it say that dogs cannot receive calming medication the day of a grooming appointment. My girl is anxious when she’s not with me but does overall fine when at the groomer and has been to plenty of other locations. I was told that she wouldn’t be accepted when we checked in and it became a waste of everyone’s time.
Courtney has perfected grooming on 2 of my Pekingese. They look wonderful after their appointment with her.

Update!!!!! I took Sammy back and the Manager Courtney took care of him. It has been a week and no issues. I am planning to get him the spa visit, nails, booty and bath. The nail trim excellent. However, Gland expression I know to be a fail. As already Sammy has symptoms bad, the next day. I did ask the tech which side was fuller. She stated that she only did external expression. Unfortunately, nothing was expressed. I am not certain if the techs do internal. For sure I will be bringing Sammy for Nail trim. Will wait on the information regarding the gland expression.
