Melinda's Grooming

Never again. The lady was very sweet & I even left a tip. But once I got a good look at my baby I was furious.😠 Ive never had a dog that needed this type of grooming. Im so disappointed. Why? Why would you shave all her facial hair. My instructions was just a trim and no foofoo hair cut. We got foofoo and no facial hair. The skin is red from the close shave.😪 When we got home my dog was acting up horribly that tells me she was treated with kindness. Not that I want to be going back and forth but, I have had my baby for 2 months. Her previous owner did have her groomed. Im enclosing a photo. I choose your place because you took us in as a walk in on a previous visit. All I needed was a trim around her eyes and mouth. You took her in gladly. Once again I took her in as a walk in because your phone number on your website said it was not a good phone number. Your website states walk ins welcomed so I took the chance. If I had been told no I would have been ok with that. I expressed I did not want her hair because I like her curls. I only wanted a trim around her eyes & mouth. Bath, nails cut & teeth brushed. I appreciate your attention to my review.

I had called to make an appointment and they said for me to bring my dog in between 7:30-10:30am and they do grooming on first come first serve basis which is fine. I go and I’m first one in right at 7:30am, I’m trying to get my girl in and out as she is older and has huge amounts of anxiety. It’s getting to be close to 10am and still no call about her and I have to be to work soon. I call for an update and they said they would get her done by around 10:20. Okay so I was the first one there and you still haven’t started on her yet?? What was the point of me bringing her that early then? Anyways I go and pick her up, no one is really nice, they don’t tell me anything about the wait or nothing at all. I see one of the groomers get mad at a different dog for barking, which is so weird. They’re dogs and they’re stressed out, they’re going to bark. My dog looks fine, but it was such a weird experience. She’s been getting groomed for 8 years and this our first time experiencing something like this. I wanted to give a new groomers a shot but I doubt we would be back. Hate to think of a random person yelling at my dog for barking. Just silly.

Don't take your dogs here, I took my dog at 7:30 am right when they open to be the first one to get service and they didn’t have my dog until 1:30 pm. The reason they gave me after picking him up is that I have to pay more than what I paid, for them to take my dog right away. I show a picture of the style I want it for my dog and they told me it was not possible, when his fur was not in bad conditions, I told them to do the possible to save his fur and they didn’t even tried to save my dogs fur they shaved it all, and I had to help them cause they left his hair ugly. The lady who did my dogs fur she didn’t even try to put at-least a cute bandanna on my dog she made a crappy piece of ribbons that was shocking my dog, I made her to take it off, I paid $87.00 which is overpriced for them to do a terrible job on my dog.

Great customer service. I have been bring my best friend here for 4 years. He alwaty comes home smelling good. Never have I had a problem.

This place is absolutely great! I dropped off my dogs and within a few hours they were ready to be picked up. The ladies that work at Melinda’s are wonderful and caring to the dogs! Absolutely a place I will continue to use for my dogs!

Took our little chica to get groomed. They did an amazing job. When we brought her in she had a lot mats in her hair and was really in need of a bath. Now she is so soft and looks and smells so good. We are so happy and would highly recommend Melinda’s for grooming. Also when we picked her up she was so happy and seemed really comfortable being there.

They have excellent customer service. My dog Grizz got his first real groom today and they did very well. He’s so soft and is super cute! Will definitely go again and they’re a million times better than PetSmart.
