Petco Grooming

Very disappointing experience at this Petco grooming location. I brought my two dogs in for grooming. One of them became stressed and wouldn’t walk toward the kennel. Instead of showing patience, the groomer refused service, claiming they are "not allowed to carry dogs." This makes no sense. My dog weighs 14 pounds. How are dogs placed on grooming tables if carrying is supposedly not allowed? From the start, the employee assisting us was in a bad mood and questioned our vaccination records simply because they were from another state and formatted differently. There was nothing missing or invalid. She also claimed my dog would need to be completely shaved due to matting that "couldn’t be undone," which is absurd. We groom our dogs monthly and have never been told this by any other groomer. If matting exists, addressing it is part of a groomer’s job. Overall, the experience was unprofessional, dismissive, and lacked basic customer service or animal handling skills. I would not recommend this location.

Very bad service. I took my dog for grooming and when I took him back he kept scooting and feeling very uncomfortable.. when checked we saw a cut near his genitals which was not mentioned by them, very dishonest from the groomers end. I will lodge a formal complaint as well. But please do not take your pets here .. dishonest and unprofessional folks who don’t know how to groom

I’ve been very satisfied with the grooming Petco groomers have that have worked on my little Maltese. They can handle her much better than I can! I will continue to bring my dog here. I do have a favorite groomer, but I don’t want to offend any of the other groomers!

Very Disappointing Experience I had a terrible experience with one groomer here. From the start, their attitude was rude and dismissive, and I felt they treated me differently compared to other customers. Instead of focusing on grooming my pet, they created unnecessary drama, making the entire visit stressful for both me and my pet. Professionalism and respect should be the standard in this industry, but this groomer completely missed the mark. I will not be returning and cannot recommend their services.

Have had a couple appointments now and was very hesitant at first due to all the negative reviews but I was thrilled that I took my two poms to the groomers at petco they did a fantastic job the first time and while the second we had to reschedule due to one of their groomers being out sick it was a little inconvenient but they made it work and got my pups back on the schedule quickly and did an incredible job. They came home smelling great and looking beautiful. I also just found out I can start taking my cat in for grooming too as they now do cats so this works very well for us.

Horrible customer service. Brought my pooch in for grooming and was rudely talked down to by the lady with rainbow hair without provocation. I was simply providing dates and information to another rep who was helping me when rainbow hair lady decided to quip at me. Not sure what kind of bad day she was having (or maybe she just never has good days?), but I'll be gladly taking my pooch somewhere else.

The worst customer experience ever. They didn’t let my dog in since I told them he has dry coughs from time to time since he was born when he feels pressure on the chest. The receptionist labeled him with collapsing trachea and said they can’t operate on him. I told them he was never diagnosed with that and asked them to call his vet. They refused to groom him although they cut his hair couple years back.
