Shayna and Erin are wonderful! We had been taking our Pomaweenie here for about a year and it has been fantastic. Our boy looks fresh, handsome and sassy every time! Great communication and swell animal people. Absolutely delightful service and folks. Thank you for being in this area of town!

I am hesitant to write this review at risk of making it more difficult to book appointments but I dare not stand in the way of such a high-quality operation. Pet magic RVA is an incredibly knowledgeable, kind, patient, and professional team of groomers hidden away in a retirement-home complex off of Hermitage Rd (~2 min south from exit 80 on I-95.) The salon itself is small in footprint and in some cases dogs will be in relatively close proximity with one another. So be mindful of this limitation if your dog has severe anxiety or aggression towards other dogs. Look no further if you are seeking a small, local groomer with a dedicated team of compassionate people.

I had the pleasure of working with both Shayna and Erin, and I can confidently say they are two of the most compassionate groomers I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! I honestly wouldn't trust anyone else with my own pets, not only because of how considerate they are, but also because of their exceptional skill and knowledge. This shop really is a treasure of RVA!

Shayna and her colleague were amazing with my senior Persian cat! This was the first time I took my cat to Pet Magic for her annual summer cut. Shayna found a worrisome looking wound under my cat’s fluff. She called me right away to let me know, and because of that I was able to get a vet appointment right away. I appreciate how caring Shayna was with my cat, and how she handled the situation. I also really loved how quickly they were able to get my cat in and out. The Pet Magic ladies also just did a really great job aesthetically with her bath and cut (see after and before pics 😂). Other groomers have left her a little patchy in the past and have kept her there all day, which is why I was in search of a new groomer.

We absolutely LOVE the ladies at Pet Magic!!! They treat us like family and do an excellent job at grooming my super fluffy Himalayan Boy Gomez! He comes home feeling so good and looking so proud. They treat him as if he was their own!!! They genuinely love animals and take the utmost care of their beloved furry friends! My neighbors have brought their two kitties for Grooming’s as well and they LOVE their grooming and customer service!!! Highly recommend these wonderful groomers.

Great first experience at Pet Magic RVA. It has been a challenge finding a consistent groomer, and I only wish we had brought our dog here from the start, as it is clear they are knowledgeable and experienced.

Very pleased with their grooming! It’s hard to find a place that can successfully de-shed my dog and they did a great job. 2 hours and he was in and out looking great. Lovely staff
