Wizard of Paws

Wizard of Paws has been amazing for my young, high energy Dalmatian! I have never taken my dog to a groomer before so I was worried but the owner, Lee, was very sweet and informative about the process! She was very patient with my dog and made him feel comfortable and he absolutely loves her! We will definitely be using their services again❤️

It is so hard to find a good groomer. I think my dogs Hazel and Vivian agree that we have hit the dog groomer lottery. Lee and her crew at Wizard of Paws RVA are wonderful. My dogs love going there which is not the case at any other place. They take their time and also listen to what I want and also make smart recommendations and my girls always look so good! Scheduling is easy and I can’t say enough great things about Lee and her team.

We have been using Lee for a couple of years for our two Maltipoos. I absolutely love the personalized appointments the pups get. No staying in crates for several hours while waiting to be groomed. No loud barking or chaos. It’s always so calm and peaceful when we walk in. Lee does a wonderful job grooming them and is always very thorough and perceptive with them. Our dogs love Lee and this is the only groomer they haven’t been anxious to go to.

By far, the best salon we have been to! Lee has been taking care of my dogs for years, but everyone there has been so great with my very anxious girl! And she always comes back looking (and smelling) beautiful!

Lee is the best groomer my dog has ever been to! She is incredibly talented, and always has my doodle looking fantastic. I love that she offers one-on-one appointments. You drop your dog off and pick them up a few hours later when they’re finished. The space is clean, welcoming, and professional. Highly recommend!

Lee is absolutely amazing!! The staff is wonderful and it’s so easy to schedule appointments. I have a very timid pitty and Lee always grooms her with care to accommodate for her shyness and hesitation with loud noises. We 🩷 wizard of paws!

I do not wish to bring down your score, Lee. I would like to express my disappointment regarding your recent scheduling instability. While our 25lb dog has been groomed by you on three occasions, the issues with keeping pre-scheduled appointments have become disruptive. As a single mother with a full-time job, I rely on stable scheduling. The recent changes have caused significant inconvenience: - September: The appointment time was moved. - October: We arrived for a confirmed appointment (confirmed electronically) and were told you had no record of it. - Today (December 2): My appointment, which was scheduled six weeks in advance, was canceled via text with less than 24 hours' notice. If you knew you could not groom our dog this week, I would have appreciated more notice than one day prior given how difficult it is to get appointments during December/the holidays. This cancellation will result in a 2​-3 week lapse in grooming. Given this pattern of cancellations and the extended period before the next possible appointment, ​you force people to find another groomer in the interim​ or as you can expect, the return visit to you WILL require more work​. Conversely to your slogan to be pet-centric you are also claiming to be groomer-centric; in reality, your scheduling deficits inconvenience both the customer and the animal (and you too.) We wish you the best.
