PLEASE READ THIS: It took me a few days to even find the words, I’ll try. I was desperate to get my 75-pound doodle, Jake, groomed after chemo treatments and before he started 20 days of radiation for cancer. I waited too long and had such a small window, but Shell squeezed him into her insanely busy schedule just simply out of the kindness of her heart. (And for a complete stranger.) When I picked him up he looked ‘incredible’, easily one of the best grooms he’s ever had in nine years. Then, when I went to pay, she told me she was covering the entire visit. I tried to argue, I was so determined to pay and tip her big, but she wouldn’t budge. She just said, ‘You have enough going on.’ I completely broke down crying right there. I’ve told the extended version of this story to so many people this week as they’re calling to check in on Jake and I cry every single time, with them tearing up too. *Shell, your talent is amazing, but your ‘compassion’ is what I’ll never forget. She’ll be seeing a lot more of us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Everyone needs to go see her, she is so worth supporting. "WHERE PETS ARE TREATED LIKE FAMILY"

The new owners and the staff are very conscientious and do an amazing job cutting our 18-year-old Shih Tzu’s hair. She is a firecracker and it’s takes a lot to keep her still as she does not like getting her hair done. They do an excellent job and she always looks great. thankful that they take the extra care with our little old lady.

Our senior dog is so well cared for at Backyard Spa & Pet. He's large and he's got special needs in his old age and the owner and staff have graciously accommodated him with whatever it is he needs (sling, different surface to lay on, appointment timing). He walks out of his appointment wagging his tail and it's such a relief to have him where I can trust he's cared for and treated gently and with respect ♥️ We would honestly never even consider going anywhere else, for any dog in the future either.

Been having less than easy experience finding a competent dog groomer for my almost 2 year old golden retriever, Pepe. Tried Backyard, and I think I've found a permanent spot. The energy, as soon as you step in the door, was calm and clean. No where near as chaotic and stressful as the others I've tried. The groomer herself was very professional, personal, and had a real understanding of what should/shouldn't be done for grooming. I will be returning when Pepe needs his next trim, and want to explore the many other services they offer.

Backyard Pet Spa, seriously does such an amazing job. I am a first time pet owner outside of living with my family. I was so nervous to find a groomer that would be the perfect fit. From the moment I walked into this store I knew it was going to be a great experience. The staff is so incredibly kind and supportive. They help you with any questions you have and treat your dog like their own pet. Maple is my 1 year old australian shepherd and they made her coat look beautiful! And on top of that she was so happy when I picked her up I knew they treated her well and did an amazing job. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a groomer without a doubt I will keep coming back here! 100/10 service grateful to have groomers like this nearby.

Absolutley amazing! Took my dog to get his teeth cleaned and they were so supportive with what needed to be done going forward. Will be taking him back to get a grooming. Highly recommend!!

This place is the best! Took my cat had the best lion cut ever! She was so relaxed and great prices. The staff so friendly and experienced along with the owner, so helpful. Kept me posted on what they were doing and sent a video. I will always take my pets there. Fun environment too.
