Furologist Dog Spa

I live in the north end of the county. I happily drive to Capitol Expressway in San Jose to get Chloe groomed. My daughter stopped somebody one day whose dog was groomed the way I like it and asked where she took her dog. Back then, Michelle was working on Winchester. When she opened her own business in South San Jose, I was right there. They not only do a great job with the haircut, but they will paint little flowers on your dog if you want that. They brush the dog's teeth and do the important little extras. Look at Chloe's before and after. She was so shaggy before. When I picked her up, she looked perfect. A bit like a stuffed dog. Also, everybody working there is very nice and has superior grooming skills. And, if you want to wait for your dog, there's a Popeye's and a McDonald's right there, so you can have lunch. There is also those gas stations with a store that has cool fun things.

Furologist is the best in the business in the Bay Area. I’ve been sending my pup for his grooming routine for a year now and I’ve always had the best services done for him here. What’s better is that the staff are so friendly that my pup doesn’t feel stressed getting groomed and imo that’s a major win.

They did a great job for my puppy’s first professional grooming session. He came home looking polished, smells great, super white, and happy❤️ Highly recommend!!

Bam and Michelle are truly exceptional! Our dog can sometimes be reactive on walks, but at Furologist she is always completely at ease. Their patience, kindness, and incredible skill make every visit a positive experience, and she always comes home looking fantastic and feeling relaxed. Had an amazing experience at Furologist Dog Spa! We just moved to the area from across the country and this is our first dog grooming experience here in the Bay Area and I think we’ve found a keeper. Our Maltese, Kenji, is an anxious dog and sometimes gets a little mouthy when being groomed but they handled him really well and we got the cut that we asked for exactly. The session is a little longer than usual, but we don’t mind it at all since we know they’re giving Kenji the attention and care he deserves. Everyone is so nice and welcoming and service really is 5 star. The place is very clean and neat. I also love that they give you a report card at the end of the session. We will definitely be back and if you’re looking for dog groomers in the area, I definitely recommend Furologist!

am absolutely delighted with the grooming service for my dog. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with exceptional attention. The entire staff is super professional and very attentive, making sure my dog felt comfortable and relaxed throughout the process. The haircut was flawless, exactly as we wanted, and my dog looks amazing. Additionally, the place was clean and well-organized, which adds an extra point to the excellent experience we had. Excellent service and 100% recommended! We will definitely return the next time we need a haircut for our dog.
