PetSmart Grooming

I took my dog to the PetSmart Dog Spa for a wash and blow-dry. Before this visit, we never had any skin or coat issues. About a week after the grooming, my dog developed severe dandruff and constant itching. He also started shedding excessively — my entire house is now covered in fur, which never happened before. I have to clean my Dyson vacuum filter every two days because it gets completely clogged with hair. If your dog does not have sensitive skin and usually tolerates any shampoo, this place might be fine. However, in our case, it feels like the shampoo was not rinsed out properly. This has been one of the worst grooming experiences we’ve ever had, and my dog is clearly uncomfortable.

Cannot give a 0 star hence 1. I recently had a terrible experience at PetSmart grooming where I dropped my beloved dog off to be groomed. This was the second time I had used their services and I have to say that it was an utter nightmare. Not only did they give me a contradicting statement about my dog's behavior, because the first time they themselves mentioned that my dog was sweet and super silent through out grooming. The groomers at PetSmart were extremely unprofessional and absolutely incompetent. They refused to work on my dog and told me that he was aggressive and about to bite them. As a result, they asked me to pick him up immediately. I was completely taken aback because my dog is a sweet and loving creature who has never shown any signs of aggression. He gets super friendly when given treats and enjoys being groomed at other places. The sad part is that I didn't even get a chance to see what was wrong with my dog, because the groomers at PetSmart were so quick to push him out the door without any explanation or guidance. I was extremely disappointed and left feeling frustrated and upset. Needless to say, even if they let me , I will never be using PetSmart grooming again and would urge other pet owners to steer clear of their unprofessional and incompetent services. There are plenty of other options out there that will take good care of your beloved pets.

This review is a little late because I had the dogs in about 3 weeks ago. But they are my go-to. All the groomers are outstanding. Dogs always look good seem happy to have been there and the shop is always kept clean and tidy. Never smell anything but sweet smelling dogs when I walk in. Wouldn't think of switching to another shop.

I took my dog to get groomed. He had a lot of hair on him. When I picked him up, he was shaved like a hot dog. I did not like the cut. Lydia was not very professional, and her vibe was off. The price was ridiculous!!!! Never again.
