Chichie's Grooming Spa

I had my chocolate lab groomed there on Christmas Eve. It was easy to schedule, and they did a great job on my dog. It is end of January and I still smell hints of product the used on my dog. Much better than PetSmart. My dog came out shinier and smelling great!

This is our second visit to Chichie’s, and Let me tell you I would not go anywhere else! My Larson is a year and a half miniature poodle, that had multiple bad experiences at groomers nearby (I won’t mention any names) I finally made the decision to book an appointment and take him to a poodle grooming specialist. They are experts, honest, deliver results and most importantly they LOVE Poodles ! My baby comes home happy after spa day. It does take all day and a chunk of change for great grooming results, you get what pay for in this experience.

This was our first time at Chichie’s and they did an amazing job. Very friendly staff and a great grooming. Circe is usually anxious around strangers but she seemed very relaxed after her appointment! Definitely going back and totally recommended!

To groom one's dog at Chichie's is really the height of luxury for both the dog and its owner. I found Chichie's by asking the owner of an amazingly feathered Ruby Cavalier, where she groomed her dog? She told me Chichie's in Georgetown. I was really impressed with the grooming of her dog, so I did not forget that piece of information when it came to grooming my Cavi puppy (a tricolor). When I got Charlie back from his first grooming session, I was blown a way with what a beautiful job Arleta had done. He looked like a show dog, all fluffy, and super soft fur. My Charlie looked like a ball of delight. Charile had his hair cut and feathered on his third visit, and he looked beautiful. I cannot recommend Chichie's enough, the quality of service is beyond reproach. And yes it is expensive, but what, in life that is luxurious, isn't? If you love your pooch and have the funds, groom at Chichie's. You wont regret it.

BUYERS BE AWARE: Nice, warm people. Poodle people! Came in to drop our two off for first visit. Get a call about an hour later just give us a "heads up" on what their charges for each dog would be…wait for it…$800-$900 PER DOG. Our poodles have no matting, nothing that would require special charges. Just sayin’. In response to Jackie Robert’s’ somewhat condescending "there’s a difference between Neiman Marcus and Walmart" defense of this outfit: nobody but master groomers have touched our dogs. We are quite familiar with "de-matting" charges, "each dog is particular" etc. Put simply, the either PetCo or Chi Chi’s comment is as out of line as the quoted price per dog we were given. Good for Chi Chi they gave us a head’s up call before the work. Had we shown up and been presented those charges, there would have been a serious problem.

Chichie's takes amazing care of our puppy. The folks here are very nice, and seem genuinely happy to see every dog that walks through the door. We went in a couple of times right after we brought our pup home, just to get him used to the people and place. He always left spoiled with hugs and compliments. Now that he is fully vaccinated, he's actually staying for grooming sessions, and still looks happy as ever when we come to pick him up. I've dealt mainly with the owner's daughter, who has been been nothing but kind and welcoming. She's taken the time to answer many questions, provide advice when asked, and clear day to day care instructions when necessary. There's a reason they've been around as long as they have.

This place is a total scam, there is no flat rate. The first time I went it was around $150(which is way too overpriced). But I went a few more times because just out of convenience as it was close to home. However after a few more times, the price climbed to $300. As they said her coat was matted. Thats there job! It should not cost more based on the condition of a dogs coat. At the very least they can be charged by the overtime of hours they worked. Never going back and I don't recommend ever going there. Not to mention, you drop of your dog at 9am and pick them up at 6pm. What kind of groomers is this? STAY AWAY
