Bark Mountain Retreat is amazing! My pup stayed there recently, and I was so impressed that they don’t just put dogs in kennels—they offer spacious, comfortable "apartments" that are roomy enough even for large breeds. The staff provides multiple playtimes throughout the day, makes homemade treats, and truly personalizes care to each dog’s specific needs. It’s clear they genuinely love and prioritize the well-being of every furry guest, and I love that it’s staffed 24/7 so there is always someone there to make sure your fur baby is taken care of. They even play music at night to calm them!!! I just couldn’t get over how precious that is. If you want your dog to be treated like family in a comfortable, loving environment, Bark Mountain Retreat is the place to go. Can’t recommend enough! Our dog is on the timid side, even though she’s a medium size breed. We were a little nervous about how she might respond to so much stimulation, but the staff was so accommodating and patient. They were happy to let her have playtime with the smaller dogs, and it’s so evident from the photos they took how happy she was! We want to start taking her for daycare just because the socialization has made her come out of her shell and improved her anxious temperament. Love this place!

This place was amazing! We left our baby (Lola girl) for a couple of days while we were out of town for New Years and they were so sweet to her. She got treats, had lots of fun with friends, and they took lots of photos and text updates. Would recommend 12/10 🙂

I just realized I never left a review for Bark Mountain Pet Resort—and they absolutely deserve one. They take such great care of our boy, Church. He’s stayed with them many times and is always excited to visit Lauren and the team, and just as happy when we come to pick him up. Church is a special pup who doesn’t always play well with others, but the staff goes above and beyond to make sure he gets the enrichment he needs. They’ve even found a few neutral dogs he can safely enjoy time with in the play yard, which has been amazing to see. Outside of playtime, they make sure our little "Lone Ranger" is well-loved and cared for, keeping him happy and comfortable during his stay. We’re so grateful to Bark Mountain for loving our boy like we do!

This was our first stay at Bark Mountain for boarding and we were so pleased. Highly recommend! The pick up, drop off times are generous. We were delayed on our return flight and were going to miss the pick up window but they worked with us to still be able to pick up that day instead of charging us for another night. Thank you for having such wonderful customer service and for taking good care of our doodle!

First visit for our puppy & he loved it! The staff was very nice & helpful. He stayed at daycare for about 6 hours & came home dog tired... LOL. Will definitely be visiting again & plan to board him for a few days soon.

Very nice people that love fur babies. We boarded her for 3 days and they sent pictures. I loved receiving the pictures. They are very accommodating with drop off and pick up times. Highly recommend and will board her there again.

My dog didn’t do well at another daycare and was moved to bark mountain after a couple of days. He was MUCH more himself at bark mountain and the staff treated him like their own until I could get back to him. I super appreciate their caring expertise and love the outdoor areas for the dogs to play, the smaller size play groups , and the personal attention he recieved
