Emily Grooms Dogs

Emily has some kind of magic with dogs - she is at the same time calm, unflappable and incredibly compassionate. She once opened her shop early so that my senior dog (who HATED any type of handling and was in active heart failure) could come for a nail trim when it was quiet and calm. Emily is a gem and I'm so lucky I found her.

Georgie (my dog) is a rescue and has been incredibly afraid of baths/water/groomers. He would shake really hard. Start panting heavily. Sometimes he’d snap/bark at me out of fear (he’s harmless). I decided to take him to Emily’s because of their fear free approach. Not only does he come out looking great, he is less anxious. A few weeks ago, I took him to the lake. For the first time ever, he faced his fear and got into the water! Yesterday, I decided to give him a bath at home (because he got messy). He didn’t shake at all! I feel like he’s gotten comfortable with bathes/water because of Emily! Thank you so much for treating Georgie with kindness and love.

Emily is simply the best. We have a special-needs dog that has been seeing her since she was a puppy. We make a drive that lasts more than an hour to see her every six weeks because no one else has the magic touch with our pup. Other groomers want to sedate, and Emily always lets us know that that is not necessary.

Emily is one of the best pet professionals I have ever met. Truly a master at what she does & we are lucky & honored to be her clients. Her knowledge & experience is incredible when it comes to handling behaviorally challenged pups. She understands that accepting grooming is a process that takes time, patience and dedication from us humans. She is not a person that will "just groom a dog because they need it". Her work is her art and she expects humans to be a part of the training journey that is helping dogs become comfortable with the process. 👻🐼🧨 all appreciate her awesomeness and I am glad to be able to call her a friend and a colleague 💜 Thank woo.

Clint was deemed "ungroomable" due to his anxiety. Emily agreed to work her magic and now we see her regularly. I’ve never met a groomer so patient and dedicated to their craft. Thank you, Emily, for your love and support!

Emily is amazing. She is so good at reading dogs and keeping them safe and content during the grooming process. My dog is super nervous generally, but is always so happy to see Emily. Her space is really nice and quiet. 12/10 recommend.

Emily literally changed our lives. When I rescued my second dog I was unable to take him to the groomer. His previous owner had to give him sedatives every time. Emily is patient and does a thorough job to the dogs comfort, and my dog no longer requires anxiety meds and is able to go to the groomer every six weeks. So glad we found her!!
